This site is set in OpenDyslexic, a typeface designed to make reading easier for people with dyslexia. The letterforms are deliberately bottom-heavy and wide, which stops the eye from swapping letters and lines - a small design decision that makes a large difference to someone who finds reading hard.
We use it on purpose, everywhere: on this site, on the quiz screens, on the consoles. A business that only works for people who find reading easy is a business that has quietly decided who it is for.
Thank you to the people who designed it and to everyone who fought to have it taken seriously. Accessibility is not a feature we added at the end; it is the first line of our typography.
